Hi! I'm Ted Minshall, and together with my wife Silvia, we offer the Irish Beach House as a family vacation rental.
I first came to Oregon as a kindergardener ... when my father took a job transfer. However, I wasn't destined to stay, the family moved away just a few years later. When I had the opportunity to transfer jobs from California to Oregon, it was an instant no-brainer ... I wanted to get back to Oregon. I've worked as an engineer in the semiconductor industry for the past 30 years, and have enjoyed living here in Oregon "permanently" since 2001. Knowing that Oregon is our "home", we bought the Irish Beach House as our retirement house. We're not ready for retirement quite yet, but enjoy visiting the beach often, and are sharing with you until then.
Aside from enjoying time at the beach, we enjoy: flying (private pilot), cooking, gardening, fishing & crabbing, wood-working, welding, cars, travelling, electronics experimentation, and learning new things.
